Seniors off to a winner
Garrymore Seniors took the opening two points on offer in the senior league last saturday against an under strenght Davitts team.
Garrymore played against the wind in the opening half and lead at half time by 1-5 to 4 with the goal coming courtesy of Shane Nally.
Conditions proved difficult and contributed to a lot of mistakes from both sides. Garrymore out scored their neighbors by 6 points to two in the second half and were never really in danger of losing the lead they had secured at half time.
Final score from Garrymore. Garrymore 1-11 Davitts 0-06
