Seniors go third
Garrymore seniors moved into third place in the Mayo senior league with a 9 point victory over Ballina. Garrymore played with the wind in the first half and led 12 point to 5 at half time. Ballina fought back in the second half but didnt have enough firepower up front to trouble Garrymore who ran out winners on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-09. The result now leaves Garrymore in joint third place with four games to go. Next up is an away tie with Ballaghaderreen on September 6th. The game is due to be the place round of starred league games if Mayo progress to the All Ireland Final
