Say the Prayer Jim...by Declan Heaney
Before every match Garrymore plays there is a practice which may not be widely-known, i.e., saying the prayer. The custom dates back for about thirty years and it has always been the final part of the dressing room ritual before taking the field. Read more...

Semi Final Pairings made
With Garrymore’s victory over Charlestown in the championship quarter final they now are tasked to overcome county and all Ireland runners-ups Castlebar Mitchels in the County Semi Final in order to reach the final for the first time in over 30 years.
The game is due to take place on Sunday 28/9/14 in Elverys MacHale park with a 2pm throw-in time.
The sides have not met much in recent years the last was back in 2009 when Castlebar won the round three group stage game to seal their passage through to the quarter finals on a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-08.
Referee on the day will be Liam Devenney from Ballina.
In the other quarter final Knockmore take on Ballintubber at 3.30pm
