Say the Prayer Jim...by Declan Heaney
Before every match Garrymore plays there is a practice which may not be widely-known, i.e., saying the prayer. The custom dates back for about thirty years and it has always been the final part of the dressing room ritual before taking the field. Read more...

Mayo Championship Draw
The Mayo Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championship draws took place last Night in Elverys MacHale Park. Garrymore were drawn in group 1 alongside Breaffy, Davitts and Claremorris.
The first round away to Breaffy will take place on the weekend of the 14/15 May. The second round (June 25/26) will be a home tie against Davitts and finally in round three a short trip to Claremorris on the Weekend on the 16/17 July.
Elsewhere the draw for the Michael Walsh League was also made with Garrymore taking on Kiltane, Aghamore and Crossmolina. First round to take place on the weekend of 20/21 February.
