Seniors up and running!
Garrymore seniors took the spoils in Crossmolina last Saturday evening in the second round of the Michael Walsh League.
Garrymore came out the right side of a one point win which now seen all four teams in the group on two points going into the final round this weekend.
Played in very tough conditions Garrymore made the best of the opening half leading at half time 6 points to 2.
Crossmolina played with a slight wind advantage in the second half and with 10 minutes to go they drew the game level 1-4 to 7 points. Minutes later Garrymore went down the other end and got a fortunate goal of their own with a mix up in the Crossmolina defense.
The game was drawn level again for the third time approaching full-time but with one of the last kicks of the game Kimmy Killeen popped over a free to give Garrymore the two points.
Next up for Garrymore is a home fixture v Aghamore this Saturday evening.
