Say the Prayer Jim...by Declan Heaney
Before every match Garrymore plays there is a practice which may not be widely-known, i.e., saying the prayer. The custom dates back for about thirty years and it has always been the final part of the dressing room ritual before taking the field. Read more...

Garrymore Patron Scheme Launched
The Garrymore GAA Club Patron Scheme was launched last night in Lyons Bar Roundfort.
The Patron Scheme includes family membership, one ticket for the Mayo GAA development draw, one weekly ticket for the club lotto, admission to home league games, club jacket on sign-up and the option to purchase an All-Ireland final ticket in the event of Mayo reaching the All Ireland final. Cost of the patron scheme is €20 per month and details can be obtained from any club officer.
Club Membership for 2014 is now open. Membership costs €60 for adults, €20 for Under 18, €100 for family and €130 for Adult with County Board Ticket. Deadline for receipt of membership is Friday 28th March.
